A quick and easy way to serve pasta with common ingredients. The sauce will be ready at the same time your noodles are cooked. With only a few simple main ingredients (bacon, onions, tomato paste and cream) you are sure to bedazzle the crowd!

Ingredients

1 pound bacon

1 tbsp cooking oil

4-5 medium onions (approximately 4 cups diced)

1 heaping tablespoon crushed garlic approximately (4-5 garlic cloves)

½ tsp salt, pepper

2 cans tomato paste (156 ml/5.5 oz size can)

5 cups cream (10 % or higher)
-
1/2 cup grated parmesan cheese
- 1 heaping tsp garlic powder
Step by Step Instructions
Step 1
Dice bacon. Dice onions.
Step 2
Fry bacon in cooking oil until crispy. Set aside.
Step 3
Sautee onions, salt, pepper, garlic powder and crushed garlic in the bacon drippings until the onions are softened.
Step 4
Once softened, add 2 cans of tomato paste, cream and parmesan cheese.
Step 5
Pour over cooked al dente penne noodles.
Step 6
Toss and serve immediately.
