Ingredients
Filling
- 1 pound ground chicken
- 8 large shrimp diced
- 5 green onions
- 3 tbsp mayonnaise
- 1 tbsp minced ginger
- 1 tbsp soya sauce
- 1 tbsp minced garlic
- 1 tsp sesame oil
- 1 tsp chicken stock powder
- ½ tsp garlic powder
- ¼ tsp salt
- ¼ tsp pepper
Wonton
- 1 Package wonton wrappers (400 g)
- 1 Egg beaten with 1 cup water
Deep Fry
- 7 cups cooking oil
Dip
- Plum Sauce
Step by Step Instructions
Prepare Filling
Mix all filling ingredients together
Deep Fry Wontons
Place a teaspoon of filling inside each wonton. Using your finger, moisten edges with egg mixture and fold in half. Crimp edges into a sea shell shape. On medium-high heat, deep fry wontons in cooking oil (several minutes per side) turning until evenly fully cooked and golden brown.
Serve with plum sauce.
