Ingredients

Filling
  • 1 cup pureed liver

  • 1 cup grated carrots (approx. 1 ex-large carrot or 2 small carrots)

  • 2 cups flour

  • 1 ½ cups water

  • 1 Tbl baking powder

  • 1 Tbl dog vitamin powder (or crush dog vitamins from pills)

  • ½ tsp salt

  • 1 tsp garlic powder

  • 1 egg beaten

    *Bake in a waffle iron

Step by Step Instructions

In a hot frying pan, fry liver until cooked through, approximately 3-4 minutes per side. Puree cooked liver. Grate carrots.

In a large mixing bowl, mix all ingredients together. Heat waffle iron. Pour mixture into hot waffle iron (usually about ¾ cup). Cook until golden brown (approx. 9-10 minutes). Remove and cool on a baking rack.

Once cooled, cut into treat-sized pieces and serve immediately.

Refrigerate unused portions.
